Members of the Pigs motorcycle riding group gather around Chris Smith during a Sept. 12 benefit for the Superior teen. Smith, who has Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy, gets out in public rarely, said his mother, Marie. What made the event extra special was when about 50 Pigs pulled up on their motorcycles to make Smith an honorary member of the group. The pack of bikers began the group about two years ago with a focus on riding together and helping others.

Hi Carey, My daughter Libby had volunteered at North Country Ride last year. So I am familiar with your program. The Pigs have this years events already planned out. This is are first year, so we are not doing as much as we could. I can bring it up for discussion when we get closer to summer.
